Many of my fondest childhood memories were made at gospel singings—at the all-night singing at Nashville's War Memorial Auditorium, the National Quartet Convention at Nashville's then-new Municipal Auditorium, and countless little country churches, county fairs, and tent revivals my parents took me to. I loved to see and hear my favorite groups, such as the Happy Goodman Family, Rebels Quartet, Oak Ridge Boys, Blue Ridge Quartet, Florida Boys, Dixie Echoes, and my all-time favorite, the Missionaires Quartet, with my dad singing the first tenor part. The singers and musicians were my heroes, celebrities whose albums and autographs I treasured.

In 1978, I promoted my first concert featuring J.D. Sumner & The Stamps Quartet. I can't say it was a huge success, but it sure was fun. In 2007, I founded American Top Gospel. Today, I am still learning and still having fun. Over the years, it has been my pleasure to work with top artists, booking agencies, and record companies in the business. I treasure the friendships and business relationships formed along the way.

I will continue to do my part to present top-quality artists in live appearances and broadcasts—artists who love the One who created the music that carries the message of redemption, deliverance, and hope in Jesus Christ to the world. Thank you for being so supportive. May God bless you richly.
